a month in review

so many different things to get up to.

i think booboo expresses it the best.

i'm hiding from you, you cannot see me.

you're not looking at me. you do not see me. i am not in my teepee.



other fun things we have been getting up to:

nice soft in-bound snow...


and perfectly wonderful singletrack ... in December.


life is good. even booboo thinks so.

head in the clouds

following wisps of dreams trailing across the sky



rolling through the sand and long shadows



for a glorious day of traillove.



followed by a day in the high country,



basking in early day - late season - super warm sunshine...



lingering in the pristine clarity ...


and piercing light ...




until...



the storm absolutely



let loose!










and of course, it totally cleared up by the time we got back to the trail head.

one heck of a lovely, lovely weekend at play!

savoring

across the boundaries


of the trodden



into the unknown.



i have awoken. with a fresh new view.

wedneSSday's weakSSauce mitigation ride

simply put, ez and i froze our butts off.


but not before we got out and got after some SSaSSy-singletrack-IT first.


we both know that the conditions weren't THAT cold...


but that didn't keep us from getting really cold, really fast.



so i did what i knew to be the best thing for shaking the cold...



pedal harder, damnit!


i miss having my riding partner near ...



so i fel extra lucky to get her at the end of the cold windy day.



just we, and our single speeds, and the frickin' wind.


high-tailin' it out ouf the great back and beyond...


back to the car ...



and straight to some hot thai food.
