our new pet, Hawk, has been watching us all morning... right outside -- gazing upon us. he's been there for at least a solid 1/2 hour so far ;-)

the snow smells more like winter than it has yet this year. these are my first explorations at capturing the things that resonate within me ;-) this is going to be entirely way too much fun!our christmas morning ...
